Light, Colour and Magic
Oct. 6th, 2019 11:52 amI thought I'd left fandom behind many years ago, that shipping and slashing was a thing of the past. But it seems to have crept back up on me over the last couple of months and here I am again, feeling like a total n00b!
I don't even know where to find fandom any more, but figure this is a good place to start...
Name: Sarah
Age: 45
Country: UK
Subscription/Access Policy: Open to all
Main Fandoms: Good Omens (TV), Rocketman
Other Fandoms: Doctor Who, Harry Potter, MCU, most things with vampires or werewolves or zombies
Fannish Interests: I squee and flail, easily and joyfully. I love to read fanfiction.
OTPs and Ships: Aziraphale/Crowley, Elton John/Bernie Taupin (in the movie - and sometimes Taron Egerton/Richard Madden RPS which I didn't know I did until I stumbled across it on AO3!), Sirius Black/Remus Lupin
Feminist, Accepting, Believer, Dedicated, ESTJ, Fighter, Funny, Gryffindor, Hopeless Romantic, Lover, Loving, Passionate, Sensual, Unique, Warm, and Weird.
I'm that nerd who knows a lot of pointless facts yet finds them cool. I'm the passionate girl with a wild mind and wilder hair. I am a proud fangirl that probably embarrasses herself on occasion. I'm a dreamer who knows no bounds. My heart cries when seeing abused children and animals. I'm a hopeless romantic seeking love. I'm real. I have so many layers that words couldn’t cover them all. Want to know more? Then get to know me.
I support the LGBT+ community wholeheartedly and I identify as queer/pansexual.
What I am not: Liar, cheater, thief, cold, mean, unloving, cruel, cynical, rude, vain, or self-centered. I don’t pursue connections with people who possess these traits either.
I have my ups and downs. I am recovering from a serious case of Major Depression and Anxiety that affected my life for over 10 years. I’m getting better every day, but I need people who are patient and understanding enough to respect what I am going through and grasp how this will always be a part of me.
I'm currently trying to post reasonably regularly. I'm not always great at commenting but I am almost always reading my friendslist. I add people because their posts interest me; if that's you, hey, I like your posts. I don't expect people I've not interacted much with to add me back, but am always delighted when they do.
